In this episode, we review our 2020 goals and set new diabetes goals for 2021.
After a quick recap of how to set diabetes goals, we share how the ones we set last year panned out. Then, we go into detail for the goals we’re setting for 2021.
Wins & Fails
Colleen’s Win: I tightened up my food protocol to get back to some flatter numbers and help restart my weight loss.
Jessie’s Fail: Ten minutes before recording, Jessie’s sensor died.
Tip of the Week
An oldie but a goodie…
Write your 2021 diabetes goals and make them visible. Rewrite them every day.
If you can see them somewhere every day, it’s easier to keep them top of mind as long as you don’t let them become part of the scenery.
Diabetes Spotlight
The spotlight this week is on Nightscout, which is the original CGM in the cloud app for those people who really want to get finely detailed control over their data.
For those who aren’t keen on the DIY approach with Nightscout, you can check out T1Pal, a managed Nightscout service.
Now It's Your Turn...
