Concert photographer Madison Thorn shares how a protester’s sign in Nashville in 2020 sparked her High Risk Humans Project.
“Sacrifice the weak.”
Madison has strived to shed a light on just who “the weak” are.
Madison highlights the stories of the people with invisible illnesses, the people who are considered “high risk” in the medical community, those who that particular protester considered “weak.”
She also tells me about a local coffee in Nashville that had ZERO effect on her blood sugars! Drew’s Brews. In the episode, she mis-remembered as Peet’s Coffee.

Wins & Fails
Jessie’s Win: Jessie was a starter in her rugby game!
Colleen’s Fail: My fail is that no matter how much I prepare for it, if I take a bath, my blood sugars—at least on my CGM—go nuts. Check out this episode on swimming and hot tubs.
Tip of the Week
