Praachi Nagpal, India's first national pageant winner with type 1 diabetes, talks about her experience with T1D. She is on a mission to show young girls that T1D does not have to keep you from chasing your dreams!
In India, giving injections in public is extremely taboo, as are visible medical devices. Praachi wants to raise awareness about T1D in India.
