Wondering how to handle high-intensity sports when you have type 1 diabetes? Guest Seth Helbling walks us through his prep process and other tips.
Jessie couldn't join us for this interview, but that didn't slow us down! Seth is full of advice about high-intensity sports, how to keep yourself stable, and what to do to prepare.
Wins & Fails
Jessie's Win: she registered to vote! She's been looking forward to voting since the 8th grade and was super excited to drop off her absentee ballot at the library.
Colleen's Fail: I had a random, overnight, extended high that had no explanation. Also, ChocZero's Keto Peppermint Bark spikes me like real chocolate. So that's fun.
Hack of the Week
Go on a walk! Doesn't matter when. It's relaxing, gets your blood pumping, and acts as a transition time. My husband and I go on a walk after my workday ends, so we get that nice separation since I work from home.
