I honestly don't remember how to get an insulin pump since I got my first one in 2002, and upgraded to the Tandem in 2017. The upgrade experience was straightforward, but going from zero pump to having a pump is a different process.

Photographer Ryan Griffin shares how to get an insulin pump. He just got on the Tandem after less than six months from diagnosis.

Ryan Griffin, BFA, is a photographer based out of New Market, Virginia. His expertise is in architectural and fine art photography and he is also highly skilled in color, design, and photo editing. During his senior year of college, Ryan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It was after this life-altering experience that he began raising public awareness by becoming a diabetes activist.
